The world is very different now. I wish my children could have heard him. He warned everyone.  He would be called a right wing conspiracy theorist now and could not be elected cause he liked women.

  1. I may be odd, but I have never worried much about how Presidents spend their off time. I remember watching all that play out with Clinton, and didn’t understand why if his wife had accepted his indiscretions, it was anyone’s business.
Same with Kennedy, and from what I have read, he rivalled Bill in the extracurricular department. 🙂
I am more concerned with what goes on in a President’s mind than in his pants.
What he thinks of those that look or think differently than him. How he treats those that are different.
    I’m a strange one, though!

    • I’m with you. I don’t care what color somwone is or who they screw. I basically want a government to leave me alone. We only need three laws. Do no harm. Dont take other people’s stuff and keep your honest contracts in good faith.

    • Yes It has except the public has so much less knowledge and are easier to manipulate. He actually used the word republic. That would never happen today. He spoke the truth to the people about the real threats and was killed for it.

  2. “I have flown to star-stained heights
    On bend and battered wings
    In search of mythical kings
    Mythical kings

    Sure that everything of worth
Is in the sky and not the earth
And I never learned to make my way
Down, down, down where the iguanas play”

    • He was no king nor perfect but I do respect him standing against something beside strawmen put forth by either the left or right. He was killed because he challenged the real powers. Probably the closest thing to a real liberal we’ve seen in at least my lifetime. Somehow the ones known today as liberal or progressives have morphed into the very fascist they accuse others of being.

  3. It was a different World then, I was only a Child but he gave hope not only to the american people but to the World. You are right, re his feelings for women. Because of his constant womanising I have no doubt he would have lost women’s votes, those that protest too much. Now men can’t do what they have always done speak about women, maybe not with respect, but thats what many do. Sad state of affairs that women have become like men and vice versa, why the young men don’t stand their ground is beyond me. Better World by far back then, fortunate to have been alive in the Kennedy era, this is not a nice World, it will never be nice again.
