This was a fun night! My middle boy, on the keys, said it was not weird. That was the best compliment I could want. He said it was like any other artist he had played with. I had never considered the potential oddness for my children dealing with their daddy being just me. I have spent my daddyhood encouraging them to be them. Now that they are finding their own way it is so sweet they allow and even help me find mine. The recording did not work. But the main thing was me actually putting it out there and seeing if they threw eggs. No eggs. Be Groovy! 🙂
Sorry this is so belated. The performance was wonderfully beatnik and fit with the venue exceptionally well. Hope you do it again soon. Gonna run by BigLots and get some granny panties to throw onstage. 🙂

He is a man now. I have given him me for 20 years. It is cool to experience him separate form me outside the roles we have played. I just happened to be the daddy for him. I would have been blessed if he had been that for me. My children are so much better than their daddy. That was my intention from the beginning. I did that part right.
Sweetie, your children would not be the great people they are if their daddy had been any different than he is. 🙂
