This is one of my blogging buddies. She is an artist with words and matter. If you have not visited her yet it is well worth the time and energy. She took a line from some of my ravings and did something beautiful with it. Right HERE. I am so proud. Finally figured out how to do the link thing. Be Groovy!

I did all the carpets at the new place. some ridiculous amount of square footage. 1600 sq. ft. LR, 3BR, DR, XR, Breakfast Room and the hallway of doom. I have to get all of our stuff out of the small old place before I can shampoo the carpets there. Ugh. I mean, I’m really glad I’ve completed step 5 out of 200. Yay. (Sarcasm.)

Must be done. I returned the truck, but had to wash one of the moving blankets, if they didn’t just all fall out of the truck when the door popped open, LOL! Moving stories are priceless.

Did your project go well today?
We unloaded the truck and I shampooed the carpets in the entire house. I’m somehow the conductor of this move and it makes me less than kind, when folks just want to, complain about the state of my furniture. That was yesterday. Today was just, Girly, my bear and neighbor and my eldest who is still almost in residence.

I will, thank you. Have you ever used a rug doctor? It’s like pulling a 25 pound dog that doesn’t want to go in the same direction that you’re going, except it has wheels and you have to push a button ejecting water as it sucks up all the dirt. This is why I hurt. I’m so gonna blog this experience.

Last night, I must have written a poem then just shut down, because I don’t even remember moving the laptop off my lap.
My legs are numb, the computer seems to be like a heating pad. The ibuprofen is working.
You did all the rugs at the new place or the old place? We always use a Rug Doctor, too. Course on a 25 year old carpet it doesn’t really do much good!

Yup, I call it prose poetry. It’s so sweet that you ask me. Like I know what I’m doing:) I just can’t stop writing and it is easier to read when the lines are shorter and grouped in clumps. My paragraphs are epic diatribes otherwise. Good morning, Plato!!!!! 🙂
Funny. I was not being sweet. I did not know. 🙂 I just do what I do. Writing stories is work. You want to do something with me a Calen? Maybe a round robin thing writing one line each until something emerges. She was the first person to clap for me on the blog thing. I wrote “The Gift” for her. She is an exceptional human!
My mood is fueled by the adrenaline of having to “direct” unpacking a truck this morning, plus following Girly around the new house. Yes, to the request. Still sweet though. Okay, so I kinda sorta created a challenge post that should work itself out. Yes, she is exceptional. She helped me in Writing 101 in January with pingback etiquette.

It’s just a list of all the blogs you guys follow on your site. If we are to pick a follower of the person’s to choose a line from, we’d need to know who that person follows. Probably wasn’t the brightest idea I ever had. I like yours better.
I finished my digging. The soil is ready. I planted some basil in a box I made from a pallet. Think I’m about done for the day. Well gonna start some seeds. I got some cucamelon seeds. They are cute little cucumber things about an inch long. Look like a mini watermelon and taste like a cucumber with lime.
Just write a line or two of something and I will respond with something then she can then it will be your turn again untill we say its done.
Oh! Those sound really good. I’m trying to get HL to move my day lilies. Wonder if I could plant them inbetween. Are they starts or seeds?
They are seeds. I will start them tomorrow. They make little vines about five feet long. I think they grow wild in Mexico or something. I saw them in a seed catalog somewhere. Can make a little salad with them and tomatoes and onions and vinegar or lime juice or something. Can make pickles out of them. I just thought they were cute and could garnish plates at the winery with them

I think you two ought to start a new blogging event where folks look around at a lot of blogs and pick a line from someone’s stuff and use it in a poem. That would be a really cool event. I bet Metal Flower Maker could come up with a fabulous name for it! That was wonderful!
