Daisy B52 Slingshot Conversion to B53 Fishing Slingbow – Parts 1-4

Standard

What I am discovering about myself is that all life is poetry, at least in the way I think about it.  Creating depends on finding the Groove, the way that makes something real.  There is always a Way.  This video/process to me is not about my genius or craftiness.  Other people could have done much better in much less time.  For me it is more of a study of manifesting an idea, a thought into something that can exist on this material plane. And it was fun.  For whatever reason I have found myself getting away from words and feeling an impulse toward stuff I can touch whether it be tomatoes or slingbows.  I have ordered a beautiful handmade wooden one but it will be a month or so before it gets here.  I did not want to wait that long to play.  So I decided to see what I could do in the interim.  May you walk in your Groove today.  Be Groovy. 🙂

  1. So how did the Ms. take the holes in the garage door? 😉 I appreciated your moment of silence for the tub. Perhaps you should have had a wake! You already had a bottle of ale there. 😀 Ok, so I was impressed when you shot the arrow into the other arrow and pushed it through the lizard. That’s perdy good shootin’ thar, Tex!!!

  2. OML! I LOVE the storm!!! (It looked like there was a couple little pieces that was in there twice at 29.50/37.38.) What’s a D-loop string for again? K. didn’t mind you raiding her tupperware??? LOL Well if you get this all figured out, you’d better patent the thing and make your fortune! You sure are a jack of all trades, dude.

    • I’m retarded. 🙂 my ignorance knows no bounds. But its fun figuring stuff out. I realized the duplicate parts but it takes so long to up load they will have to remain as a testament to my lack of perfection. 🙂 sometimes a boy just has to get his Tupperware and deal with the consequences later.

  3. Just want to know if that’s the same hammer you clubbed yourself in the head with? 😀 Very impressive, though I was just waiting for you to drop the heat gun into your lap. 😉 Have you finished and shot it yet? Loved the way you were practically OCD about your work bench but threw stuff on the floor. LOL Was fun to watch that side of you.

(Would have responded sooner but the gun fight from the end of “Quigley Down Under” was on right after your video. I got distracted. 😀 😉 Gotta love that Quigley!)

    • It may be like watching paint dry to anyone else. 🙂 so if you nod off its ok to move on. I was interested in the process of moving into the unknown with whatever limited skills I had. I meditated on it for a long time just holding the slingshit and playing with it till an idea formed itself in my mind. Then I experimented and tried things. Some worked and some did not. But the failures opened the way. And all along the way I gained real knowing that is impossible by talking or thinking or watching videos about it. I knew about it through research and study but now i know. Simple things like the difference difference in the functioning between a three pound hammer and a regular claw. I think it musr be similar with soul work. We tend to spend much more energy studying and thinking than doing and get faked out believing that they are the same. But it seems ine is only potential with the illusion of the Real. The other is actual and realized Knowing. Or so it seems to me.

      • To be honest, it’s the tone of your voice that keeps me watching. I always said you were a story teller!

I believe you’re right about that. I’m a kinesthetic learner. I understand that all too well. (So which, do you figure, is The Seeker? Hands on working things out or just more mind games?)
